Rugged sea cliff, Jomon archaeological sites and good onsen, the Kameda Peninsula (亀田半島), juts into the Pacific Ocean on the east coast of Hakodate, is an unknown jewel to most international tourists. The sacred mountain E-san (恵山) is the highlight of the peninsula.
