One of Japan’s most modern and largest oval stadiums built for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, this 43,000-person Sapporo Dome (札幌ドーム) is the home of baseball team Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters (will be relocated to Kitahiroshima in 2023) and J-league football club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo (コンサドーレ札幌).

There is a guided tour (¥1050) from 10am to 4pm except the game day.

It also has an observation deck (¥520) with both the stadium and the cityscape.

Baseball games are played from late March to early October (play begins at 6pm on weekday, at afternoon on weekend), tickets cost from around ¥2000 per person. Football games are irregular (usually on weekend afternoon from March to early December). Check the schedule before you go.
